Organic White Rice – bue pok lok

Though small in size, its qualities outsize in dimension – from its smooth and soft exterior, to its dented and wholesome inner texture. Its charm- glutinous, chewy, and tender qualities truly delights the mouthfeel. This rice has originated along the Karen tribe. Its tiny size, unlike that of any other, is as a result of high altitude origins that is watered by upstream forests in the Mae Cham hills, hence organic. This breed of rice is not only en- riched with optimal nutrients, but also detectible to the palate.
