Saltara Ferrari

It is semi-soft washed rind cheese with slightly strong smell (labeled as semi-stinker). From appearance it resembles a Reblochon but with a texture and aroma closer to cheeses like Limburger. At 1.5 months, the texture turns smooth with a mild, but meaty in flavour. At 2.5 months, stronger umami flavour is achieved, and it can be melted to enjoy with potatoes or toasted bread to substitute meat. A great table cheese.

Weight: Approximately 550g. wheel. Sold in full-wheel or half-wheel.
