There are indeed many types of condiments and sauces. From tangy to spicy, savory to sweet, and everything in between, you will be spoilt for choice on the type of condiment and sauce to use. That said, here are common examples of common types of condiments and sauces.
1. Ketchup: This is a common tomato-based condiment commonly used on fries, hot dogs, and burgers.
2. Mustards: This is a tangy condiment that is made with seeds of mustard and people commonly use them on hot dogs and sandwiches.
3. Soy sauce: This salty and savory sauce is made from soybeans and is commonly used in Asian cuisine.

Ketchup: Unopened ketchup can last up to one year at room temperature while opened ketchup can last up to 6 months in the fridge. After being opened, ketchup should be stored in a fridge.
Mustard: Unopened mustard can last up to 2 years at room temperature while opened and refrigerated can last for 1 year.
Soy sauce: Unopened soy sauce can last until its expiry date ( indefinitely) while opened soy sauce can last up to 3 years in the fridge.
Pasta sauce: Pasta sauce can last up to 2 years at room temperature while unopened but while opened, it can only last for 4 days in the fridge.
Chutney: Unopened chutney can last up to 1 year at room temperature while opened chutney can last only for 2 months in the fridge.
